Pink equals happiness

Spring is coming.

I can feel it in the warmth of sunshine in spite of the chill that lingers.

I can hear it in the spring peepers that began serenading us a week ago.

I can almost smell it as the ground thaws and the scent of earthiness begins to wake.

I can see it in the flocks of robins.

I can taste it in the ripe, red strawberries that turn vanilla ice cream into a gourmet dessert.

It’s coming.

Soon we’ll be able to throw the windows wide open. To wake in the morning to the sound of birds singing. To feel warm spring rains. To shed the layers and layers of winter wraps.

Of all the things that Spring brings, my very favorite is pink tulips.

Oh my…I can hardly wait for spring! We just got a glimpse of it yesterday while at the Columbus Zoo and then came home to mounds of snow…groan. One of the first things I wanted to do this morning was check the extended forecast. It helps to see some 50 degree weather on it’s way even if it’s not here yet:)

Your flowers are beautiful! Spring flowers make my heart sing!
