Arlen & Rita

I loved meeting Arlen & Rita and their adorable children. Their kids were just super sweet; but my biggest awww moment (I always have one somewhere during a photo session) came not with the kids, though there was plenty of aww factor going on with them, but when I asked Arlen and Rita to step closer together for a shot of just them. They turned to look at me, but just before they did, they looked at each other with that “I cannot believe I get to be with you” sparkle and gave each other a little squeeze. And I just melted.

If you’ve seen the book my sister and I wrote, you know that I am passionate about good marriages. About marriages that don’t get stagnant or lost along the way. And seeing Arlen and Rita so in love made me feel all warm and happy inside.
